If you have heard Hednigarna’s second album “Kaksi!” you would remember! Because with this record they planted a mile pole in Swedish music history with their, at the time, unique mix of middle-age groove, hard rock riffs, mixing ancient (sometimes homebuilt) instrument with modern electronics, Finnish female vocals and barn dance joy.

Gruppen bildades 1987. Den dåvarande sättningen utgjordes av Hållbus Totte Mattson, Anders Norudde och Björn Tollin. De ville med sin musik utforska den ursprungliga nordiska folkmusiken. De fick sitt internationella genombrott med sin andra skiva Kaksi!
